ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΗ

Η αποστολή της Νεολαίας της ΕΛΠΙΔΑΣ, μιας επιτροπής του Συλλόγου Φίλων Παιδιών με Καρκίνο ΕΛΠΙΔΑ, είναι η ευαισθητοποίηση και δραστηριοποίηση σχετικά με την ψυχολογική φροντίδα των παιδιών που πάσχουν από νεοπλασματικές ασθένειες. Ιδρύθηκε το καλοκαίρι του 2015 από μια ομάδα νέων ηλικιακά μελών της ΕΛΠΙΔΑΣ που φιλοδοξούν να χτίσουν πάνω στο ισχυρό όραμά της με καινούργιες ιδέες και δράσεις αλλά πάντα με την ίδια αγάπη για το άρρωστο παιδί και την οικογένειά του.

ΣΥΜΒΟΛΙΣΜΟΣ ΤΟΥ ΛΟΓΟΤΥΠΟΥ

Το λογότυπο συμβολίζει τη φυσική εξέλιξη του Συλλόγου, η οποία τροφοδοτείται από αγάπη και ενώνει το παρελθόν, το παρόν και το μέλλον. Η ελιά – σύμβολο ειρήνης και νίκης, στο οποίο αντικατοπτρίζεται η ίδια η Ελλάδα, όπου και γεννήθηκε η ΕΛΠΙΔΑ – είναι τόσο βαθιά ριζωμένη όσο και η 25χρονη ιστορία του Συλλόγου καθώς και το πάθος και η δέσμευση της Προέδρου του και Πρέσβεως Καλής Θελήσεως της UNESCO, κ. Μαριάννας Β. Βαρδινογιάννη. Τα κλαδιά απεικονίζουν τη φιλοδοξία της Νεολαίας της ΕΛΠΙΔΑΣ να απλωθεί σε επιπλέον τομείς και να προσελκύσει νέα μέλη, ενώ η καρδιά συμβολίζει τον πρωταρχικό στόχο μας: να στηρίξουμε ψυχολογικά τα παιδιά με καρκίνο, να τα βοηθήσουμε να ανακτήσουν μερική από τη χαμένη ξεγνοιασιά της παιδικής τους ηλικίας και να ζεστάνουμε τις καρδιές τους.

ΣΤΟΧΟΙ 2016-2017

As per the World Health Organization, "health is a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity"1. For cancer patients, and especially when these are children, emotional support and psychological wellbeing can help both them and their loved ones better manage the disease and its treatment. To that end, during the time period 2016-2017, ELPIDA Youth will be working on two ambitious projects that aim to improve overall quality of life for young patients.

During the above time period and in order to raise both awareness about children’s cancer and funds for our two key projects, we will organize a series of family-friendly events that we look forward to sharing more about. We count on your continuous support to make these events a success and help restore hope and happiness in children’s hearts!
